The General Secretariat of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Committees affirmed its keenness to streamline the process of lawsuits and their handling according to the highest levels of quality and efficiency, by simplifying the processes of receiving and registering lawsuits, facilitating the exchange of their memoranda between their parties, studying them in terms of legal and accounting aspects, classifying and classifying decisions issued by the committees, and preparing research And periodic reports and statistics on the work of the secretariat and committees.
A workshop hosted by the Asharqia Chamber on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, during which both the judicial assistant Abdullah Al-Hassoun and the tax analyst Ali Al-Omair spoke in detail about the roles and tasks of the secretariat and the services it provides for the smoothness of its claims handling procedures, and the speed of adjudication through the Path Initiative The rapid initiative launched by the General Secretariat, which contributed to reducing the periods of litigation in cases before the committees.
Al-Omair explained that there are many electronic services provided by the General Secretariat, perhaps the most prominent of which are receiving and registering cases, ensuring the legal status of their applicant, verifying the availability of all legal requirements for their registration, supervising the electronic exchange of notes between their parties according to the regular periods, and analyzing and studying aspects of legal, tax, accounting and customs disputes. Managing sessions, drafting decisions issued by committees, and electronically handing them over to the parties.
In this regard, he affirmed the keenness of the General Secretariat, as an independent body, on legal and legal authentication when examining cases, following the rules and regulations and what was settled by the judiciary of the committees, and educating customers about everything that would protect their rights and facilitate litigation procedures through the remote litigation service provided by the Secretariat and electronic authentication for verification.
